From day one, when the company was founded in 2005, Xodus has been committed to supporting sport. Our investment in professional and amateur sports is founded on the belief that what works in sports works in business too; a strong team spirit, persevering even when things aren’t going well and striving to be the best. This belief is central to the company’s integrity and brand values. Whether we are backing small community initiatives or a medal-winning athlete, we take our pledge seriously. Hundreds of thousands of pounds have gone into supporting clubs and events including Aberdeen Boat Club, the UK Junior Snipe National Championships in Orkney, the Squash 7 Continent Challenge, which raised thousands for charity whilst promoting the sport’s bid to be part of the 2020 Olympic Games, the Hericanes ice hockey team in Houston and the Steelers rugby team in Dubai. Some of the many ways we build team spirit internally are supporting clubs that our people are involved in, contributing to their numerous charity fundraising events such as the MS 150 in Houston, and to annual events such as our X-CYC cycling tour. The company has sponsored world class North East swimmer Hannah Miley since 2009, investing more than £100,000 in her training and travel in that time. Former Scottish rugby captain Jason White works with our people in his role of business performance coach; demonstrating the importance of teamwork and driving our mentoring scheme.
