Charlie Parker
Charlie graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1989 before training at Coopers & Lybrand where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. He went on to join Rutherford Manson Dowds, probably the most entrepreneurial accountancy firm of recent years, that Charlie first met the principal directors of John Lawrie Group.
He made the move out of the profession to become Finance Director of John Lawrie Group in 1998. Over the last 11 years he has helped steer JLG to becoming a global metal recycling and steel trading business with a turnover in excess of £100m.
In his role with Xodus he shares his financial skills and business experience with the other directors and continually challenges the executive directors to think outside the box.
Charlie is married with 5 kids and a Labrador, and in a parallel universe would spend all day on the golf course and all night drinking red wine.
