Richard Heard
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from King’s College, London, Richard has more than 20 years post-graduate experience in engineering consultancy and business management. Having specialised in subsea and pipelines early in his career, Richard rapidly established himself as a subsea design leader, gaining experience from executing major projects in the North Sea, Australia and the Gulf of Mexico.
In 2000 he became head of Andrew Palmer and Associates, the pipeline and subsea consultancy and was appointed to the board of Penspen (APA’s parent company) in 2002. Richard was a founding member of Xodus and has been instrumental in the rapid organisational development of the group that has underpinned its rapid growth.
