Subsea Engineers
Location: Aberdeen and London
We are looking for Senior / Principal Subsea Engineers that have experience in the design engineering of subsea pipelines, structures and associated systems – particularly at Conceptual / FEED stage. We are happy to consider both staff and contractors for the positions.
We require people that are confident with both analytical and practical aspects of the work and someone who can work individually or within a team. Specific areas of experience in subsea engineering that we are looking for include:
- All levels of design from conceptual to detailed engineering, installation engineering and construction/procurement support.
- Subsea field development, from ITT preparation through to commissioning.
- Export pipelines, infield flowlines, flexibles, bundles, umbilicals/jumpers, risers and j-tubes.
- Piping and structures for manifolds, towheads, tees, riser-base and ESDV’S.
- Upheaval buckling analysis, limit-state and strain-based design.
- Preparation of specifications, procedures, cost estimates and authority submissions.
- Project engineering during construction phase, including installation procedures, equipment mobilisation and offshore installation.
- Use of computer software – Mathcad, Caesar II, SACS, Flexcom 3D, ANSYS.
- Knowledge of UK, Norwegian and Dutch sectors of the North Sea and also West Africa.
- Offshore and site work on DSV, laybarge, dredger, platform and drilling rig.
Ideally you will have genuine subsea or pipeline experience gained within a Consultancy environment.
Principal and Senior EIA Practitioners
Location: Aberdeen, London and Orkney
This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplined environmental team providing services to Marine and Coastal Industries. You will be involved in leading and project managing high profile EIA's for the Oil & Gas industry in the UK and Internationally, as well as having the opportunity to diversify your EIA and management skills to other sectors, in particular, our growing portfolio of Marine Renewable projects. In addition to leading EIA projects, there will also be a strong emphasis on business development.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated individuals with relevant experience in EIA for the offshore Oil and Gas industry and have proven Project Management experience in a Consultancy environment. Being a registered EIA Practitioner or holding another recognised IEMA accreditation would be advantageous. Strong leadership and business development qualities are a prerequisite.
