Having a background in pipeline system design and/or analysis work (probably no less than 10 years experience), you will have a good understanding of code requirements and analysis methodologies. Flow Assurance Engineer
Location: Aberdeen
We are seeking an exceptional individual with a working knowledge within Upstream Oil & Gas projects in the early stages of project execution including conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design. With hands-on transient thermal-hydraulic modelling/simulation work in the support of the design and operation of offshore facilities including wells, pipelines, risers, separation and pressure-boosting equipment working with software such as Olga and Pipesim.
As part of the wider Integration Technology Division, which has staff located in all our hub offices within the Group, you will be part of a growing and vibrant business with an outstanding reputation for quality. In this role, you will be key to ensuring clients receive the highest standards of consultancy work concerning flow assurance. Having a background in Flow Assurance studies and projects ideally within the Upstream sector, with a Chemical or Process Engineering degree (or equivalent) you will have a thorough understanding of relevant software applications
You should be able to work by yourself but will also need to integrate easily into multidisciplinary teams. You must also be confident in facing clients, have good listening skills as well as being organised and professional.

Technical Safety & Risk Consultants
Location: London
Xodus Group is seeking high-calibre consultants to join its growing Technical Safety & Risk (TSR) Division. The role involves providing technical safety and business risk management services to world-leading operators in the energy industries. Primarily, you will be working on concept and FEED assignments for onshore and offshore field development projects including wellhead platforms, production platforms and FPSO and semisubmersible vessels.
Successful candidates will have experience of working in the following technical areas:
› Risk Mapping, ALARP including HAZID, QRA, Fire & Explosion Modelling, ALARP Demonstration
› Process Safety including Safety In Design, HAZOP, Safe Guarding, SIL Reviews, HIPPS, and Reliability Analysis
› Regularity Compliance including Safety Case, Thorough Review, PFEER Assessments, and COMAH
› Safety Support.
In addition, you will be familiar with supporting clients in business risk management:
› Due Diligence Reviews, Audits
› Asset Integrity Management including RAM and O&M Reviews.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate their knowledge of industry guides such as IEC standards and HSE regulations. A good degree in Engineering, or an equivalent area or significant formal training in Health and Safety related to Engineering, is essential. Experience of direct liaison with customers is also required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplined environmental team providing services to the emerging marine renewables industry. You will be involved in leading and project managing high profile EIA's, as well as having the opportunity to diversify your EIA and management skills to other marine sectors. In addition to leading EIA projects, there will also be a strong emphasis on business development.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated individuals with at least 5 years experience in EIA for marine related industries, ideally including some offshore renewables experience. Candidates should also have proven Project Management experience in a Consultancy environment. Being a registered EIA Practitioner or holding another recognised IEMA accreditation would be advantageous. Strong leadership and business development qualities are a prerequisite.
