The fundamental principles are common to both offshore and onshore developments, but each require specific attention and expertise in certain areas.
Onshore projects typically require a robust process design at their heart as many are located in remote regions. Our process and facilities services provide significant experience and expertise in onshore developments. In addition, onshore developments rely heavily on comprehensive pipeline networks, often driven by the much higher well count for onshore fields than offshore. Our pipelines team and integration technology team provide pipeline design and flow assurance expertise in this area, where the challenges of extreme temperature variations are not uncommon.
