Piping Design
Xodus believes that early and targeted involvement of piping and layout design, even at a conceptual level, is a powerful tool to assist the engineer and client to identify the issues and confirm feasibility. This approach also minimises the risk of cost and schedule growth during subsequent engineering phases.
Using CAD software and 3D modelling packages such as PDMS, our experienced engineers and designers can quickly and effectively develop images to enable the project team to visualise the proposed modifications and thus enhance the design process.
By doing so, issues that have traditionally arisen during FEED such as operability and maintenance requirements, structural or safety layout considerations are identified earlier. This can avoid “show stoppers”, improves the efficiency of the design process and minimises the risk of project recycle.
