Xodus Group Continues to Grow
The last three years have been quite a journey for the Xodus Group and in this time we have added some pretty major strings to our bow.
We have added two new Divisions to our business portfolio – Xodus AURORA, which delivers an independent environmental service to our clients, and the Technical Safety and Risk (TSR) Division which ensures safety is central to all our projects.
Additionally, we have established a number of new products and services, including for example our new suite of production optimisation products.
Since we established Xodus Group in 2005, we have steadily developed the Group brand and built a formidable reputation for being one of, if not the, leading consultancy for oil and gas field development. Throughout this edition of XTRA you can get a flavour of some of the field development studies we are working on in London, Perth and Aberdeen. Indeed, the North Sea market is currently booming with field development and redevelopment activity in this region at unprecedented levels.
Similarly, in Perth Australia we have worked on some world-class field developments, including a contract to provide a full Environmental Impact Statement for a major Australian client. This is the largest contract in Xodus Group history and is a truly fantastic coup for the new Environment Division* in Perth.
But never ones to rest on our laurels, we are always looking at opportunities to bolster continued growth and you will see from the front cover of this edition of XTRA that we have now firmly established a presence in London. Already we have begun three field development studies from our London office and through continued marketing, repeat business and the development of a first class team, I am convinced this office will be central to the success of the Xodus Group.
Adding to our technical expertise, we have internally developed a unique brownfield and greenfield cost estimating tool that is a ‘must have’ for any field development study whether it is a simple tie-back to an existing host facility, or a new multi-billion dollar development. Accurate cost estimating, world-class experience and a fully integrated approach have allowed us to become a leading field development consultancy and there is no intention to stop developing our capabilities or expanding our services... so keep watching this space... and enjoy our third edition of XTRA.
