Having spent the last 11 years within Xodus Group’s Edinburgh office, specialist environmental consultant Iain Dixon is set to retire from the business later this month.
Xodus sees major growth in cable services
Xodus Group has recorded a major increase in the provision of services related to subsea power cables over the last twelve months.
The number of new assignments grew by more than 50%, resulting in more than 70 active work streams in 2019. This has allowed Xodus to increase its number of specialists in this area, now totalling more 30 permanent staff with subsea cables experience.
New appointment bolsters environment team
We have appointed Dr Nicola Bain as environmental specialist to develop post-consent support to clients in the offshore renewables sector.
With 25 years of experience at Marine Scotland and its predecessors, Nicola brings a wealth of experience in offshore renewables and regulatory compliance at all stages of the lifecycle of the project. For the last 5 years Nicola lead the renewables licensing and consenting team.
Xodus doubles Perth team after strong year
International energy consultancy Xodus Group has doubled its Perth workforce after a successful year which has resulted in the company moving to new offices in the city.
Xodus has seen a surge in its environmental, field development and subsea work. The company recently secured a major cross-services contract with Beach Energy in Australia. The company is performing the role of integration contractor through the select phase for Beach’s Trefoil gas condensate field in the Bass Basin.
Xodus adds new wind analysis offering to support developers
International energy consultancy Xodus Group has expanded its renewables capabilities with the addition of a new wind analysis team.
The new service line, which will be part of Xodus’ advisory unit, will offer energy yield analysis services across all stages of wind farm development, both offshore and onshore.
