Xodus acted as a trusted development partner, leading the majority of project development roles including Project Director, Project Manager, Environment & Consents Manager, and Engineering Manager. Our remit spanned early-phase development through to investment readiness, including support to secure a seabed lease from Crown Estate Scotland and consents from the Scottish Government and local Planning Authority. We provided strategic leadership to attract investment partners, progressed technical surveys and FEED, and delivered wider company support across defined specialist scopes.
Xodus established clear project goals and an integrated development strategy, underpinned by robust site selection and technical feasibility assessments. This included evaluation of geotechnical conditions, energy yield, export cable routing, environmental and consenting risk, CfD modelling, and technology options. We defined the project design basis, authored the INTOG leasing round bid, and led investment partner engagement. Our team managed stakeholders supported equity processes and due diligence, and delivered early-stage outputs including site selection and feasibility reports, a stakeholder management plan, and targeted team secondments. We also supported the discharge of consent conditions to maintain development momentum following the award of project consents.
Xodus continues to support the project through ongoing secondments, including Delivery Manager, Project Engineer, and Consenting Manager roles. We provide confidential strategic advisory services and remain engaged in the discharge of consent conditions, ensuring continuity, technical assurance, and informed decision-making as the project progresses.
