The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with over 20,000 participants in over 160 countries. In 2019, Xodus took the bold step to be part of this movement and became an active participant of the UNGC. The UNGC is aligned with our vision - together, we will deliver a responsible energy future and our ambition of being ambassadors for sustainability both in the responsible way we govern our business and in influencing meaningful impact in the support we give our clients.
Guided by our 3 core values of Trust, Responsibility and Excellence we commit to operate in a responsible and sustainable way across our global operations. To guide us we are embedding the 10 Business Principles of the Global Compact into our governance processes. Our Policies, Code of Conduct both for ourselves and our suppliers guide us in the delivery of our business aligned to the UNGC 10 Business Principles.
In September 2015, the UN set out ‘Agenda 30’ a path that over the next 15 years would aim to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and protect our planet. At the heart of this was the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. As our business navigates the energy transition with our clients, we have chosen to prioritise the following seven SDGs where we feel we can make meaningful impact in a responsible manner.
- Gender Equality
- Affordable and Clean Energy
- Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
- Sustainable Cities and Communities
- Responsible Consumption and Production
- Climate Action
- Life Below Water
